David Walters

David Lee Walters is a United States Democratic Party politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma. He was the 24th governor of Oklahoma from 1991 to 1995.

Walters was born near Canute, Oklahoma, and graduated as valedictorian from Canute High School in 1969. He earned a bachelors degree in industrial engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1973 and a masters degree in business administration from Harvard University in 1977.
